New CA vs Hate Campaign Confronts Online Hate
Hate has no place in California – IRL or online. That’s why CA vs Hate is launching new digital content to confront this issue and promote respect, kindness, and action against online hate.
This new campaign aims to encourage Californians to rethink how they engage in digital spaces. Whether it’s the comment section or direct messages, words matter and can cause harm to another person.

With messages like "Comment with Care and Compassion" and "Bullying Isn’t Okay in Person, and It’s Not Okay Online," we’re asking Californians to take a stand against harmful online behavior. Scrolling past hate isn’t enough—reporting and speaking up can make a real difference.

Reporting Online Hate Is Confidential & Easy
CA vs Hate provides a safe, anonymous reporting option for victims and witnesses of hate acts. If you experience or witness online hate, report it at CAvsHate.org or by calling 833-8-NO-HATE. Care coordinators can provide resources and connect individuals with support, including access to mental health, financial, and legal services.
